MARY CAMILLE & HENRY · MAASIN CITY, LEYTE

From Leyte
with love.

A fertility journey · April–September 2026

Sometimes, the journey to have a baby asks more from a couple than they ever expected—more patience, more time, more effort, and a lot of hope.

Mary Camille and Henry came all the way from Maasin City, Leyte to Cebu to seek help after trying to conceive for a couple of years. I first met them in April 2026, when we started their fertility journey together.

Every visit meant traveling from another island. It meant arranging their schedules, making the trip to Cebu, undergoing the necessary tests and treatment, and then going home hoping that all the effort would eventually be worth it.

And in September 2026, we finally received the news we had been waiting for.

Mary Camille is pregnant!

From that first consultation to seeing that positive result just a few months later, I am so happy that I was able to be part of your story.

Every fertility journey is different, and pregnancy can never be guaranteed. But when you have been trying for some time, seeking proper evaluation may help uncover what is standing in the way and what options are available.

Congratulations, Mary Camille and Henry! All those trips from Leyte to Cebu have brought you to a beautiful new chapter. May the months ahead be filled with good health, excitement, and much love as you wait to finally meet your little one.

When Marissa first came to see Dr. Sharon in November 2024, she and her husband were hoping to have a baby while facing the challenges of adenomyosis and myoma.

Their journey involved patience, uncertainty, and the hope of one day welcoming a child. In September 2025, they received the news they had been waiting for—a positive pregnancy test.

That hope became a beautiful new chapter with the arrival of their baby, Tomy Grei Assireel.

“It has been a joy to be part of Marissa’s journey—from our first consultation to seeing her and her husband holding their baby. Thank you for trusting me with your care and allowing me to share in this special chapter of your lives.”

LICA’S STORY

Beating PCOS:
Lica’s story.

Meet Dr. Lica — a fellow physician, a woman of strength, and now, a proud mother to a beautiful baby girl, Liane Dorothy.

When Lica first came to see me, she and her husband had already been trying to conceive for three years. Their journey had been long and emotionally exhausting, made more difficult by her diagnosis of PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and the presence of a myoma — two conditions that can make getting pregnant feel like an uphill battle.

As someone who also has PCOS and waited three years before conceiving my daughter, I saw myself in her story. I knew what it meant to carry hope quietly, to feel the ache of longing, and to keep going even when the odds seem stacked against you.

Together, we created a plan and walked the path one step at a time. In less than a year after her first visit, she returned to the clinic — she was 5 weeks pregnant. And just recently, she delivered her healthy, much-awaited baby girl, Liane Dorothy.

Lica’s journey is a beautiful reminder that strength is not the absence of struggle — it’s the choice to keep going despite it. Her story is proof that even with challenges like PCOS and myoma, motherhood is still within reach.

To every woman facing a similar road: don’t give up. Miracles may take time, but they do come — and when they do, they make every waiting moment worth it.

Your story isn’t over yet. Keep believing.

MOMMY WEN’S STORY

A journey through worry, trust,
and a safe delivery.

At 39 years old and 13 years after her previous pregnancy, Mommy Wen came into this pregnancy carrying not only excitement, but also understandable worries and fears.

Throughout the months, there were concerns to manage, including episodes of UTI, medications that needed careful consideration, and the many questions and anxieties that can come with pregnancy—especially after such a long gap.

We took the journey one step at a time, addressing each concern as it came and keeping a close watch on both Mommy and Baby.

When delivery day finally arrived, those fears naturally became even more intense. It was during these vulnerable moments that being present for my patient mattered most to me—not only as her OB-GYN, but as someone she trusted to guide her safely through an experience that could sometimes feel overwhelming.

Despite all the anxious moments along the way, Mommy Wen successfully delivered Baby Rhyielle Gustine through a safe normal delivery. ❤️

Afterward, she shared a message that deeply touched me:

“You were my constant guide, my comfort, and my safe place through every uncertainty.”

And perhaps the words that stayed with me most:

“You helped me bring this precious life into the world, and more than that—you helped me see the world again.”

I’m truly grateful that I was able to be there for Mommy Wen during some of her most vulnerable moments—to reassure her when she was afraid, help her through the difficult moments, and eventually see her holding Baby Rhyielle safely in her arms.

Congratulations to Mommy Wen, Daddy, and the entire family. Welcome to the world, Baby Rhyielle Gustine.
